I also remember the excitement of our first home in 1975.  We got a Farmer's Home Loan to build a new Sherman Home in Glenburn.  The lot and house came just under our maximum money available of $32,000!  We only had one car back then so we had to wait until my husband got home from work to go out and check on the progress.  Wasn't I frustrated when we got to the first week of November and everything came to a dead stop for deer season.  We were finally able to move in the first week of December, in time for Christmas.  I was remembering the excitement of watching our house go up while helping to build a Habitat for Humanity home in Mobile, Alabama, this past January.  The National Association of REALTORS.
